Valorant’s New Sentinel Tether Debuts With Act V on 5 November
Riot Games has pulled back the curtain on Tether, Valorant’s 29th agent and the newest Sentinel. Hailing from Chile, her kit is built around information control and area denial, giving sentinel players a fresh answer to fast site takes.
How her kit works
Anchor Line, her signature, links two allies; if one goes down inside link range, the other briefly gains a damage shield. Snare Web drops a tripwire network that reveals sprinting enemies, while Echo Beacon pings the last spot of anyone planting or defusing. Her ultimate, Deadlock Protocol, seeds a full site with reactive snares for 20 seconds.
Tether unlocks when Act V begins on 5 November, with ranked queues paused for 14 days while her win rates settle.
