Minecraft Autumn Drop Brings Back the Copper Golem and Adds Shelf Blocks
Mojang Studios has launched its autumn game drop for Minecraft, resurrecting the Copper Golem from the community mob vote as a craftable helper. Built from copper blocks, the golem wanders near chests and automatically sorts matching item stacks, slowly oxidizing over time until it locks into a decorative statue.
Shelves for every builder
Three new shelf blocks in oak, birch, and cherry display up to three items each and activate with a simple right-click, opening new decoration options for bases, shops, and market stalls on multiplayer servers.
The drop is live on Java and Bedrock editions, with a free oxidization lesson pack for classrooms this term. Builders have already begun uploading warehouse sorting tutorials across community forums and video channels.
